This is why BASF Forward AM developed the Ultrasim® 3D Lattice Library to understand the different mechanical performances of different lattice types and find the right lattice for your application.

How to develop your own lattice application?
Find the right lattice
- Filter with the Ultrasim® 3D Lattice Library by application (Footwear, Protection, Seating) or technical requirement
- Click on the lattice card for a deep dive into the mechanical behaviour
- Every lattice card has a code on it (A1, A2, A3, …, D4). Use this code in the Ultrasim® 3D Lattice Engine to design your lattice part.
Design your own lattice application instantly
- Start the Ultrasim® 3D Lattice Engine to use the code of the selected lattice and design your lattice part.
