Ultracur3D® FL 60
Flexible Resin with Optimum Haptics and Low Hardness (Shore 60 A)
Ultracur3D® FL 60 by Forward AM is a well-balanced reactive urethane photopolymer for flexible applications that delivers exceptional flexibility with high tear strength. It provides high softness (Shore 60 A) and excellent haptics, while maintaining long-term color stability.
Benefits at a Glance
- Low hardness (Shore 60 A)
- Very good haptics
- Very stable clear-white color
Example Applications
- Footwear
- Functional prototyping
- Cushioning pads
- Flexible grip
Material Properties
- Rebound resilience: 11 %
- Tear strength (Graves): 9 N/mm
- Elongation at break: 90 %
- Hardness: 60 A
Ultracur3D® FL 60 rebound behavior
High speed videos of a drop tower test of a steel ball (~130g) onto a lattice structure (60x60x22mm³) from 0.95m height
- The Ultrasim® material model can also be used for simulating flexible materials
- Depending on the material’s energy dissipation the Ultrasim® material model can be adjusted to reflect the correct rebound behavior
